These terms and conditions rule your use of our website; by using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, do not use our website.

PAYMENT TERMS

Ducane Dry cleaners reserves the right to change all quoted prices and are subject to change without notice. Ducane Dry Cleaners accepts cheque and cash payments. Ducane Dry Cleaners does not accept credit card payments for less than £5.

COLLECTION OF GARMENTS

Although Ducane Dry Cleaners will make every possible effort to process garments within the prescribed time-frame we shall not be liable for any delays. Uncollected items may be disposed of after 90 days. We reserve the right to dispose of them without any prior notice.

STAIN REMOVAL

The aim of Ducane Dry Cleaners to remove all stains from most types of material, but in some cases may not be possible. This should be pointed out by our counter service staff when you leave your item at our branch. We also recommend that you do not attempt to remove since the chances of stain removal is reduced if any non-professional techniques have been applied such as the use of water, soda or alcohol.

We treat difficult stains with the utmost care, but occasionally we may need to use harsher techniques or chemicals to remove these types of stains. In some circumstances we will contact the customer before going ahead as certain stain removals can only be performed by the customers prior consent and at their own risk. We may not be able to guarantee the effectiveness of the results In these cases.

SUEDE & LEATHER

Garments made of suede & leather have characteristically inherent weaknesses or defects in their material. They are therefore subject to natural flaws and will age after cleaning.. We do not take responsibility for colour imbalances or changes in garments made from these materials.We will always provide you the same standard quality and reliable services and results without any risk to damage to delicate materials.

COLOURS

Loss of colour, change of colour or bleeding of colours should not occur during our professional cleaning as we are using the proper cleaning system. Testing & inspection procedures will identify fabrics requirement prior to the thorough cleaning process. Special care will ensure the maximum soil removal possible without risk of colour damage.
Note: Fabrics which become extremely soiled may not release all soils and stains without risk of damage to colours. Colour problems as well as stains may be hidden by excessive soil and only show up after soil is removed.

ALTERATION REPAIRS AND TAILORING

Before proceeding with a repair or an alteration for which you will be charged, we will check with you to confirm the cost of the work. You can drop your garments in for repairs at any time during opening hours. Ducane Dry cleaners carry out professional repair system tailored to the specific needs and requirements of your garment.

DELIVERY POLICY

Ducane Dry Cleaners offer a free of charge pick and drop services on larger orders. Due to varying London traffic conditions there may be unusual circumstances which make it impossible to deliver your order during the arranged date. We will do all that we possibly can to keep you fully up to date using email, text messages or by telephone. Ducane Dry Cleaners reserves the right to refuse a dry cleaning order or cancel an order if there is a reason to believe that our staff may be at risk of physical or verbal abuse or if customer consistently does not open the door to a collection or delivery of clothes and items.

LOSS OF GARMENTS

Ducane Dry Cleaners take the great care in processing your garments to avoid misplacement or loss of any of items. To help ensure this does not happen please make sure to empty your pockets prior to leaving items with us. If you do not do this we cannot be responsible for any lost item.

In the unlikely event of damage to your item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your garment back. If it is required, we will pick up your garment, look into the issue and contact you within 24 hours. We will investigate any complaint as quickly as possible and pay fair compensation for any damage or loss due incurred whilst the item was in our care.

CLAIMS

We will not be held legally responsible for any damage which is not related to or caused by the cleaning processes. Any claim settled will be on the condition that it is accepted by the customer as full and final settlement.

We are fully insured for any loss or damage and are therefore in a position to offer you fair and clear compensation. From these guidelines, we would potentially compensate you once liability is proven by us, only once the age, original value and proof of purchase from you is clearly established.
